There are many different paths to parenthood, and the experienced team of fertility specialists at First Fertility are here to help each aspiring parent navigate their unique fertility journey.

The path to parenthood starts with an initial consultation with a board-certified fertility specialist. Our First Fertility clinics are conveniently located across the United States and offer in-person or virtual new patient appointments.

During your first appointment, we will discuss your medical history, family building goals, and your options across a wide spectrum of fertility treatments, fertility preservation, and family building solutions. Your treatment path will depend on your specific goals and medical history, which our specialists will review in depth.

Fertility Testing

Before creating a treatment plan, our centers conduct comprehensive fertility testing for patients. This allows us to recommend custom-tailored protocols for patients to make informed decisions about their treatment plan, reflecting our commitment to treat each patient as an individual, rather than a number.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is an advanced form of assisted reproductive technology that involves fertilizing an egg with sperm outside of the body (in vitro). During this process, mature eggs are fertilized with sperm and carefully monitored in an IVF lab before being transferred for hopeful implantation.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a fertility treatment that helps sperm reach the fallopian tubes more directly by inserting a sample directly into the uterus. Before insertion, the sample is concentrated to ensure only the healthiest, most motile sperm are used. IUI is done to increase the likelihood of fertilization for our patients.

Fertility Preservation

Cryopreservation allows our patients to preserve their fertility and grow their family when the time is right for them. Our laboratories can freeze eggs and embryos to be stored for years, or even decades, that can be thawed and later used to create a pregnancy. Our centers can also provide oncofertility services to patients undergoing chemotherapy, cancer treatments, or other medical interventions to ensure their fertility is preserved.

Fertility Surgery

Reproductive surgery is often recommended for patients who experience structural causes of infertility. Conditions like endometriosis or uterine fibroids can make it difficult to become pregnant. Many of our centers can perform laparoscopic or hysteroscopic procedures to correct these structural issues and improve your chances of conceiving. For more complex cases, the Fertility Centers of New England and the Fertility Institute of New Orleans have a Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgeon on staff.

Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

PGT is a part of the IVF process that allows our patients to make informed decisions about their reproduction options by scanning embryos for potential abnormalities or disorders. Prior to implantation, embryos can be tested for chromosomal abnormalities (PGT-A) or genetic disorders (PGT-M) based on you and your partner’s DNA.

LGBTQ+ Family Building

First Fertility centers are welcoming of all patients, including LGBTQ+ individuals and couples who wish to grow their family. When you visit one of our clinics, you will be treated with compassion and respect as we work together to find the right path to parenthood for you.

Male Infertility Treatments

Fertility challenges can affect male partners just as much as female partners. Our centers strive to educate patients and treat causes of male infertility to improve the chances of pregnancy. Fertility testing includes semen analysis to allow our specialists to determine any underlying male infertility issues and create the most effective treatment plan.

Ovulation Induction (OI)

OI is a process often used to improve the chance of fertilization by increasing egg production. Using a series of fertility medications based on your needs, our specialists can induce ovulation.

Egg Donation

Not all patients can provide an egg for fertility treatments, which is why egg donations are essential to some patients’ ability to grow their families. Several of our clinics—The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services, InVia Fertility, MCRM Fertility, and Fertility Specialists of Texas—have in-house egg donation programs in need of egg donors. If you are interested in helping a family achieve their dreams of having a baby, find a location near you.

Third Party Reproduction

First Fertility centers support the varying needs of our patients to help meet their unique fertility goals, including those who require third-party reproduction. We will work closely with patients who need donor eggs, donor sperm, or a gestational carrier to recommend reputable agencies and resources, so you can make an informed decision.
